Newfrontiers Authors

I thought it would be interesting to make a list of authors that have risen up from the ranks, here's my list. Who have I forgotten?

Good list. didn't know a few of the names on it. Still, it needs to be longer. Any plans for a book Phil or Dave?

You mised PJ Smyth if you're counting self published books.

and by the way Greg Shepherds book on worship is one of the best out there and massively underated.

Great idea Phil : )

There are some Indian authors too Indrajeet Pawar at http://www.solidbooks.in for one

Also: Greg Haslam & John Groves ( bothcurrent), Henry Tyler & David Fellingham (both OOP)

I guess the problem comes when you have to wrestle with whether to list authors whose books are not currently in print - I would, as both Dave & Henry's books are still available via the wonderful www.abebooks.co.uk

The fact of life in Christian publishing in the UK (NB I used to work for Kingsway) is that fewer and fewer titles are being published, and unless a title is a real storming success, then, sadly, it's unlikely to see the light of a reprint dawn. Consequently, most of these author's current works will go OOP : (

I think we'll see an increasing rise of self-publishing via places like Lulu.com, and also a move to digital formats - which is why I've just started an audio book production company, woohoo! More news of that anon, this wasn't meant to be a plug for that ; )
